    Greetings!

I am a Florida Mom of 4-yr-old triplets. We are planning on homeschooling next year for K and I am starting some research now.

I would REALLY appreciate any tips from others who may have done this with multiples. Anything I need to especially plan for? Do you think HS is easier or harder with twins/triplets?

Thanks so much! I have been reading these boards for days now and thought I would finally chime in.

As the mom of a K5er and a Pre-Ker, I think it would be easier if they were both on the same level. Having to jump between them both with entirely different stuff (granted, most of what my 3yo is doing is just busy work for the sake of distraction). My only experience with multiples is through my niece/nephew (twins), but they are not HSed, so I can't really help there.

wow, that sounds like alot of fun. I think it would be alot easier to teach them all on the same level. But, I am sure there might be some bad things about that too.
    Welcome aboard.

    Welcome!

We have some parents who have children of different ages and they teach certain subjects together to make it easier. This way they are not teaching science three time, language three times, and so on.

I am glad you joined us!

    Thanks everyone!

I was suspecting that having three the same age could make teaching at home a bit easier. At least we can all be learning from the same page -- although I am sure they will eventually find their own pace at things. :)

I am really enjoying it here and have found so many things to learn about home schooling. Thanks!!

We have several twins on this board, so hopefully they'll be able to help out. I'm Jackie, in central Ohio. My kids are 13, 11, and 5, but I teach as much together as possible. Some things I teach all three, some I do the older two, and some the younger two.

I think it was easier to hs my kids that were in the same grade level. One may catch on quicker than the other, but in my opinion it was easier.

    I dont have any multiples, but I am schooling ages - 16, 14, 13, 11, 10, 8 and I have a 2 yr old and 11 month old.
I try to multi teach as many subjects as possible.
