We school year around and take breaks as needed. This past year we took all of December off because of how crazy busy it was during the holidays. We started back up the first week in January. During the rest of the year we just take days off as needed. Like today If DH takes off we will usually end up not doing school that day because they would of course rather be playing with daddy! Or we do a field trip.
