Anyone ever done a Precepts Ministries Bible study?? I'm in the middle of one on Covenant and it is SO GOOD!!! If you get a chance or if you are looking for something that digs in deeper into the word, I totally suggest these.. I'm going to look into getting another after this.. Possibly a Hebrews study.. I love digging into the Word like this.. I don't do it like I should though.. I am trying REALLY hard to study more often.. It helps when I have someone to be accountable with..
We used to use AWANA for the kids when we had that at our church.. It was great for memorizing scriptures.. Now we use keys for kids for them.. I want something that goes deeper for me. Wish I would've known about precepts a long time ago.. Some REALLY good stuff..
I bought something new recently. It is not very deep, and we will just use it for a backbone to follow and will dive into more detail for ourselves. It is a comic book sort of thing. Do you do something for yourself that's seperate from the kids? I WANT to study more, but sometimes all I find time to fit in is the kids' devotions.. I'm starting to feel convicted for not putting my relationship with Christ first.. But I'm still having a hard time getting my bible studies done.. Problem is that I am not accountable to anyone.. If I have a group bible study, I can do it. As soon as I try to do it on my own, I do my study as I find time.. How can I grow if I'm not studying?? Know what I mean??
