My oldest is sixth grade right now and I'm beginning to plan for the high school years. My questions are: What is the best way to prepare to take the AP exams? Does anybody have recommendations for low cost AP courses? Do you have to take a course? Or can a student study and prepare for the exam on their own?
Go to collegeboard.org and click on the AP link. We are in 8th grade and I looked at that. I am thinking about a couple of tests for ds in highscool, but the process looks complicated. You have to find a school willing to administer the test to your home schooler and it is pricey.
