I Feel So Old

I saw an article on the news last night that Punky Brewster (remember that show) is married and just had a baby!

I'm feeling so old.....

 

I was feeling old lastnight when my knees were hurting. Old injury!

 

Oh My dh's Aunt always tells us we are still babies she lived to 100 just passed away. So, sad had alot of fire in here and was go getter. Lived on her owe till the end.


So, to her we all are babies yet.

 

I feel old those days when I can't get up out of bed on my own (because of my back)

 

What is Punkie doing now? Anything in movies. Haven't seen her.

 

I don't want to hear that "old" talk out of you younguns!!! If I remember right, I'm the "grandma" around here! Y'all are just still kids!!! (I'm still confused about how to use the smileys, and where they are!!! HELP!!!)

They didn't say about any acting she was doing. Just that her and her husband had a new baby girl. They named her "Poet Sienna Rose Goldberg".....but what do you expect? Punky's real name is "Soleil Moon Fry"! :lol:

 

I think the Sienna Rose part is pretty; could do without the Poet part. :smile:

Nothing like a hurting back to make you feel old.

 

Okay all you guys. I will be 41 in a month. Don't talk to me about being old. I honestly feel my age now.

I'm older than Trish, I graduated high shcool in 1977 (No, you DON'T have to say in that smirky voice, "I was just graduating from kindergarten then!!!" lol!), and I can remember when Kennedy was assasinated (though I think I remember more of what I heard/saw after the fact than from the actual assination!).

I'm like ABALL. Don't see anything at all on the right when I hit the advanced posting!

 

She shoots...she misses (because her vision is a little off). I'm ready for then when you get them aimed properly (and I think I deserve them by now :wink:

What are you kidding - I was just barely out of diapers then :lol: Someday next week will be my 32nd birthday - told you I was still a spring pup...

Some weeks ago a cute young guy went down the street and I watched him out the corner of my eye. I thought 'Whoa- he's hot!'

It ends up he is one of Kevin's friends. Not only did I feel old I felt filthy!

 

Jackie, you can still cut the mustard and that's what has these girls in a tizzy!
My first husband also graduated in '77... however he never could cut the mustard!!!

 

Take the I 95 North, cross the border into Canada (through Houlton Maine) and I'm not far... but that's all I'm going to give for directions... Catch me if you can... I'm glad you have a sense of humour and yes I do remember the Beach Boys. I saw a commercial last night for FAME - remember watching that - that was one of my favorite shows when I was a wee wittle wabbit...

 

Been there! I loved both your part of Canada, and Nova Scotia. Hope to take the family someday. Never made it to PEI, though. Next time I come up that way, I hope to visit it. We even stayed an extra night in Fredericton, because we arrived late at night and found it an interesting town.
