I was at a friends for a long weekend. She moved not too long ago and the old house had her Coca-Cola collection scattered throughout. She decided to only have it in the kitchen at the new place.

I had to laugh when I saw her shower curtain hanging over her sliding doors to the deck. She couldn't find a curtain that would cover and she didn't want to give up her "theme". I told her I would remake it for her, so we bought red material to add and this is what I came up with. I hope the attachment opens. Let me know what you think.

Thanks ladies, makes me feel good about it. A small vent here. By the time I got it done my friend was working. I left after hanging the curtain up. That was Sunday evening. NO phone call yet. It took me 4 1/2 hours to cut and sew this because I hid all seams. I wanted it to look professional for her. It sort of hurts that I worked so hard on it and she hasn't called to comment. She said thank you before she left. Maybe she thinks that is enough.

It looks good! Maybe when you're over to her house next she'll say something more? It was very thoughtful of you to make those for her.

Hey I'll let you make me one and I PROMISE to say thank you! Really I love it! I have a sliding glass door with nothing over it which isn't a big deal because we're in the country but I'd still like something there. I never would have thought of a shower curtain!

That was very generous of you to help her. Some people though like you said would think one thank you beforehand was enough. However another comment of appreciation would be appreciated. However if it isn't forth coming remember we all love it :)

I'm sorry. I should have mentioned that she said she would call and let me know what she thought of it. Also her DH didn't know the project was happening. She was going to tell me what he thought. I was just disappointed not to hear from her.

Cute! I never thought about using a shower curtain for a curtain! I'm sorry you didn't hear back from her. Maybe she has been really busy or something :)

Well I sympathize I have a friend who is a little absent minded. Is your friend? Perhaps she has had something come up.

I'd have to call her and say, "So....how do you like the curtain?" She is probably just busy, I don't know how many times I've meant to call someone, but got busy, and by the time I thought about it, it would be too late to call.

Thanks ladies for all the support. I will probably call her this weekend when I know they will be home. I'll have extra time then too. DH and DS are planning on a father son weekend. It helps that I can come in here to vent. You helped me look at it a little differently.

Aww, sometimes people don't realize what we go through to do something special. I've had that happen, too. Makes me not want to try sometimes. But, I really just try to think of it as showing love and kindness, like a Christian should.

Your project turned out nice! Great use for shower curtain!
