I lost coco. She went to the store with me and I didn't realize she snuck out of the van when I got back in. I went back to look for her and a Safeway customer told the manager that they tried to get her and she ran off across the street. I've been looking for 40 minutes and I can't find her. She is a dark brown chihuahua only about 5lbs. I'm so mad at myself.
there isa person who answered our ad on craigslist and sent a picture. It looks like her but they won't give us a,location to come see her and make sure it is her.
That's not unusual. Some people are hesitant to give their addresses on Craig's List, in case you're a creeper or something. Can you meet them at a public place and they bring the dog?
Yeah, I don't care where. I just want to see her to prove it is our dog since we don't have recent pictures
Oh, I hope you got her back!! We had a little dog that would get out all the time. LOVED that dog.. One time he got out and by the time we realized it he had been gone all day.. We had ran out of town for a few hours.. The dog catcher knew him well :/ so we called and she hadn't seen him. Finally a few months went by and I had decided he was gone for good when the dog catcher came by with a dog that she "thought was Pig". She let him out of the truck and he came running to me.. he was almost completely bald from stress, But he was home and he was fine.. We had him for 11 years. He died a few years back.. Sure miss that little thing..
What a great story! I'm hoping for a fairy tale ending, but I keep thinking about our other dog that escaped through the fence years ago that go hit by a car.
Was so hoping when I saw you were the last to reply you would be saying she was back. Just for another fairy tale story - our indoor cat got out once when she was about 9 years old and was gone for about 4 months she just showed back up one day so skinny we almost did not recognize her. She lived with us 5 more years. Still hoping she is warm and cuddly with someone who just hasn't had time to get her to vet to be checked for her chip or hasn't seen your ads yet. BTW I do take strays even without collars to the vet to be sure they aren't chipped when they turn up here.
Did you find your dog? When we first got ours she kept taking off and I feared she'd go off base. She's a popular breed here but now she stays in and around the house
