The new books for the upcoming year are arriving. I love the smell of them, the feel of the crisp pages, the sound they make when they are opened for the first time. Am I nuts? :mrgreen: If only the boys were as excited as mom. :-| Maybe half the battle is getting me revved up for the new year even if they are less than enthusiastic about starting up again. What do you think?
They are so addictive! In the midst of opening a store, we have had our hands on many new books (and it can be dangerous). Brenda
I love it too! It's one of the most exciting parts of our school year- just seeing the new books for the first time. My girls are both the same way- so we tend to fight over them when they're brand new!
Woo-hoo! I've always been crazy about new books. School books, books to read, school supplies, etc. I LOVE shopping in the school supply section of a store. Better yet, a whole store of stationery, books, pens, etc.! Ds doesn't get it, he took one look at our new books and said, "There are SO MANY! I'll never finish second grade!" I'd say it's a girl thing, but I get it from my Dad! Blessings,
Oh yea, we love new books too. Well, it's mostly me but my kids like new picture books. I ordered all of my 3rd graders textbooks many months ago so now I am having withdrawals again. I ordered about 50 books from bookcloseouts and then ordered some science books for ds for prek/k. I just can't stop!
