Andrew had moments in school yesterday where he didn't want to work (imagine that  ). His work was sent home with Noah to make sure it got home and he was to tackle it last night (the principal called me at noon - they were giving Andrew the choice - you can stay in at noon (knowing he wouldn't) or take it home. We knew he would say take it home (and then not bring it) and so it gave him control over when he was going to do it - little did he realize it would be sent home with Noah). Andrew was given the choice of when he would do it and so the school (and us) didn't have to take any heat from him over it because it was his choice to do it at home.

Tracy started it with him, but got little accomplished (my finger hurts, I don't understand it, etc - Andrew had it all). Anyway, he and I sat down last evening and we tackled it! It was work we started last spring this time but he didn't remember most of it and so we started all over. Once he caught on hang on to your seats, he's was on a roll. He didn't get all of it done because it was almost 10:00 but he got most of it done.

My point??? I so miss home schooling him... last night brought back some fond memories...
