I'm wanting to learn (and then teach my kids) how we got the Bible. I want to learn its history. Does anybody have any good books on this topic? Geared towards adults, teens, kids- whatever. Maybe all three? :)

Meryl Doney, "How the Bible Came to Us" (for kids)

I took a class on this at church a few years ago (for adults), so I'd be happy to email you the class notes if you'd like.

There's a really cool 2 hour Nova special called "The Bible's Buried Secrets" that investigates the archaeological evidence of the origin of the Bible.

    Really fascinating stuff!
