When I went to the meeting about the business plan the other day, the man had no clue about home schooling and questionned whether there is actually a need for this type of business around here (there is). Anyway, he wants me to get letters of support (to show there is a need) for the business and I have to have them by Monday (the first meeting is on Tuesday and he would like to present to the 'powers-that-be' to show there is a need) - I have people (home schoolers and teachers) around here working on them, but wonder if I can go a step further with this... If we're able to get a webpage up (which we are planning on doing), would any of you support the business (or at least send me an email saying that you would support the idea)? If you could (or would) do this for me, would you send me an email saying that you would support this idea? The business email address is: teacherschoiceca@yahoo.ca If by chance you have my home email address, you can send it there - I would prefer not to put it on a public forum because we seem to be getting a lot of spam lately (no matter how hard I try to block it all) and I think it may have to do with the accessiblity of our email address... The first meeting was today... I received a phone call a couple hours ago, I didn't even make it through the first round. Yeah I'm a little disappointed BUT I'm not down and out and I don't go down without a fight. The harder someone knocks me down, the harder I fight to get back up and going again... this isn't any different. Instead of starting the business with plan "A" (opening a physical store) we'll begin with plan "B" (working from home - designing a webpage, etc) and go back to plan "A" when the time is right. My husband was a little more upset than I was (he's looking at all the curriculum I have wondering what on heavens earth I'm going to do with it all It'll all work out darlin' hang in there!
