I've completely done a 180 since I started planning at the beginning of the summer, but finally have everything figured out (For now, anyways  )
Gone are the plans of going completely with SOS or Abeka. I've gotten brave enough to pick and chose the best for my dd; not just what I'm comfortable with.

*My Father's World (Adventures) - reading/history/geography; Bible; music; language arts
    *A Reason for Spelling
    *A Reason for Handwriting
*Abeka (math) and supplementing with Singapore story problems
    *Apologia (Flying Creatures) - science

My dh is doing art. He had wanted to be an art teacher, so this is right up his alley. I know he's focusing on color wheel and intro to the great artists.
Phy. Ed. will continue to be gymnastics thru community ed.
Health will just be informal life lessons at this time.

I think that's it. Wow, looks like a lot once I write it all down!
