    My tops 3 are:

    1. Dishes...they NEVER end.
    2. Folding and putting away laundry....you should see the HUGE clean pile of laundry in my laundry room!
    3. Cleaning mine and dh's room...everything that doesn't have a place ends up in there.

Mintha~ our bedroom is the same way. Its where everything goes when someone stops buy (seperated laundry and such...nothing icky)
I will wash laundry for anyone, but ya'll are on your own folding and putting away. And I'll clean up poop if someone will fold my socks!

I don't unload the dishwasher, ds does it now, YAY
I have to take out the garbage, because if I don't then it doesn't go out.
And I will dust for anyone!

holy cow! it's like you all live at my house! poop duty falls to ds (we call a "code brown") because he's the only one who likes the dog, dd loves to dust, and laundry just gets worn straight from the dryer. and if you need a glass of milk, you wash a glass yourself. actually vaccuming is not too bad because it's aerobically challenging and I can count it as exercise.

    1. mopping ( I have a huge kitchen that people have to walk through to get to other parts of the house; getting a moment when someone won't track it up in 5 minutes is the challenge)
    2. cleaning out the fridge ("taste this and tell me if it's still good.")
    3. folding white clothes. all those small items take forever!!!!

    1. Yard work - only here, though. I've never minded yard work anywhere else. The ground here is as hard as cement, nothing I plant grows, and the ground is very uneven which makes mowing with a reel mower a giant pain.
    2. Cleaning the kitchen floor. I don't use mops, I scrub the floors on my hands & knees. The kitchen is fairly large, has an island in the middle, and is the room you have to walk through to go in & out of the house (we never use the other door). So, the floor is always dirty & the only time I'm sure nobody will walk on it is after everyone else goes to bed. Scrubbing mud off the floor at 11 pm, what fun!
    3. The bathroom. YUCK! My ds still has aiming issues & hits the floor around the toilet. The sink always has gobs of toothpaste in it. My dh cleans the hair out of the tub drain & leaves it on the side of the tub. So, I have dh & the kids clean the bathroom. It's all their mess anyway (I clean up after myself).

    1. Ironing dh's shirts (just finished 8 of them . .. but if I dont' do it he'll wear them wrinkled, and that is worse!)
    2. I'm with you all on putting away laundry. I have 4 baskets so I can let folded laundry sit in baskets longer. LOL!

Ironing is a chore I've never done at. all. ever. DH was a marine and so he knew how to iron when we got married and it was one thing my mother never taught me...so DH does all the ironing round here

I OWN AN IRON!!! REALLY!!! It's an essential item when it comes to quilting, but it disgusts my mom that it's the only thing I use it for. MY dss had a court date about two hours away, and Carl was going to drive him there, so Michael spent the night at our place. He walked in with a white shirt that looked like it had been slept in. So I offered to iron it for him. (We're talking about COURT, here, and impression is VERY important!!!) Carl's mouth about DROPPED. He told me later that Michael asked him in the car if maybe I'd be willing to iron it for him. Carl said NO WAY would I touch an iron. And then I offered! HA!!!

Actually at a job I had a client needed me to Iron her dresses...I made a strange face and she asked me what was wrong...I confessed that I'd never ironed clothing before and she said that's ok, do your best and I'll have my daughter finish them up...it took me the entire three hour shift to iron 5 dresses!
