Hi all!! I am new to this forum. I am a working mom to 2 boys. Brenden is almost 10 and Zachary is 7 1/2. They attend public school. You may wonder why I am here in the homeschooling section....well let me tell you:lol: I want to home educate when they are home and on vacations from public school. I think it will only help them furthur their learning. I thought I could get ideas and thoughts here. My younger son has behavioral problems that stem from his sleep apnea. His school works very well with him. I need to constantly encourage him to do his work. He does it but struggles. My older son does well in school but is one of those children that if you challenge him he really responds to it. He loves to figure things out. How things work....future engineer I'm thinking. I hope I will be welcome here even though I don't officially homeschool:love: ~Heather~

I have 7 kids. 3 grown and married, 2 16 almost 17 year old sons who are 3 weeks apart in age and in the 11th grade in public school,( One of them is mentally handicapped ), and my two youngest are girls ages 13 and 8. I started homeschooling them in August of this year. I love it so much. Hope you like it here. Beth
Hello! You are definitely WELCOME! There are a lot of great ladies on this board, so if you have a question, ask away, we'll be happy to help if we can!
I think every parent is a homeschooler. Children learn ALL THE TIME...not only when they are officially "in school". ANYWAY...ur totally welcome here!!!
