I have found that to be true at times; however, I definitely know that this time God wants me to wait on Him to give a clear answer. He keeps giving me absolute "no's". I guess that's good practice for recognizing the absolute "yes". I'm going to talk to my dad again about ideas for income during his retirement. It might be such a thing that my answer will come in the form our families helping each other with supplemental income. Thanks everyone for some great ideas that I hadn't thought of before. Gives me a good springboard for prayer and discussions here.
Soap is fun and a great idea. Also, you can make biodiesel from used vegetable oil from a local restaurant. I think you need lye or something. If you have a truck, you can use it in the normal diesel engine, and not have to buy so much gas.
