I have kids that are middle school aged and beginning to use the computer for more than checking out addictinggames.com, and I'd like to add a filter so they don't accidently come across things they shouldn't. However, I do want open access to research. Can anyone point me in the direction of something that might work well at limiting sexual content but allow most content?

    Thanks!

We have used Net Nanny for a year now, and like it. You can pick what they can and can't see and restrict it more for one child and less of another. You can also decide what times they are on the computer. If they try to search for something they are not suppose to it will email you and let you know. It does have a yearly fee, however.
