I think I need to make the angels in Sunday School so they can put them on their Christmas Tree at home! Bet that would be the quickest way of getting "fired" as Sunday School Co-ordinater, lol!

Hey, Jackie- what ticked me off the most was that the boss was a female and she told male employees! I did wish I could quit, that's true.

 

Becky, a guy doing that is just a plain jerk. A lady...well, the word that comes to mind is one I make a point not to use!

 

Unbelievable Becky! That is horrible. I wish you could quit also. No one should have to put up with that. Sadly, so many have to because who can afford to quit their job.

Dear Ones, does anyone else have second thoughts about my relating the incident from Barbara Johnson's book? I've been thinking of going back & editing it. I want my mouth to be pure. I hope I am a modest, Christian woman, & somehow posting that ridiculous social blunder in such an open manner seems inappropriate. I must have really thought I needed a laugh that day, & I'm afraid I overstepped my own boundaries of decency & order. Please forgive me.

 

Well, it didn't offend me at all. We are women, talking about normal body functions and the trouble we experience. I didn't detect any lewdness in it.

If it was off, then I'd better take back my joke, too. lol

 

Prarie, you have a very sensitive spirit. I didn't see anything wrong with your comments, but if it bothers you then go ahead and edit it. But sometimes we as women just need to let go and have fun. It's OK for us to laugh WITH each other. You weren't making fun of anyone, so I agree with Valerie.

 

My gosh, Prairie, you don't know what a treat it is to be able to come here and discuss things like this. I've posted issues here I couldn't bother telling my husband simply because he wouldn't understand. I don't know about the other girls here, but I'm very glad for the conversations that get talked out here.

 

I thought it was hilarious and even shared it with my dd(16). The sheep and elephant one I first heard from my best friend in high school - our minister's daughter!

 

Prarie--don't worry bout it for a second!! We are all women here ! You did not offend honey!! It is nice to be able to come here and clown around with "the girls!!" :lol:
