This week has been so incredibly busy, but fortunately homeschooling has been going really well. We're doing Sonlight for history and literature and my son loves the books. I found that if we do all the reading first, he's willing to get right out of bed and start quickly. He's also willing to move on to his less favorite subjects. We're actually 3 weeks ahead in some of our reading! We've only been working 2 hours today and he's almost done with everything I planned for Monday-Thursday. I found out about a nearby rec center that has a homeschool gym class today that doesn't require preregistration and says you can come as often as you want and just pay each time, so I think we'll try that after lunch and then invite a homeschooled friend over to play. Oh, and one of his spelling words today was "schooled" and he said, "I love being schooled.":angel: Weeks like this make it all worthwhile.
