Starting on Thursday or Friday of last week, stuff has been arriving. Today, most of it came. I now have almost everything we need for our next school year. Yay! I can finalize the plans! I'm so happy!
Now, I'm just waiting on 1 school item I've ordered (I still have 1 or 2 I haven't ordered) and the new oven (they've pushed back delivery on that twice now). What a fantastic start to the week!

Our next school year probably won't start until about June. We're waiting on dd to finish Science, History, & Math. Once she finishes those, we'll be done for the year. We figure she'll be done by the end of April. Then, we'll take a month off.

Yeah! I can hardly wait to start ordering my books for next year. It is so exciting to get them and start planning.

We plan to take the month of June off for our move. I figured if we started today I could get the first 12 week term in before the move. I did learn today that I am giong to have to go much slower in language arts than I anticipated and scheduled for. I may end up tossing the schedule for LA and just going slowly and at no particular pace - it would benefit Grace - everything else seems to be going well.

Wow, that's great! I am so behind. We moved in December so we are just now only halfway through out school year. I love planning out a new school year, but haven't started yet because we still have so much of this school year to complete.

I love that we can do that - take time off to move or change the schedule - without it being a big deal. It's great to be able to say "Ok, this speed isn't working. Let's slow down or speed up or even go back a review a few chapters before we move on."
We started this school year last June, so we've really been at it for awhile. We've had several deaths in the last 12 months. We've had multiple illnesses hit our house. Plus, we've had adjustments with dd's meds for her Bipolar & ADHD. So, we've taken plenty of time off this year. It's been a long year & I'm really looking forward to it ending & a new one starting.
