I don't know people here very well but I thought I'd ask to get to know you! It's TUESDAY. How did you day go? What'd ya do? WHat's for dinner???
Well, I have had the worst week up untill this SUnday. I had some serious dental issues and infections that had me out for a week. Seriously.. the WORST. Anyway, that's coming to an end and I am coninuing to school and clean my house. We will be moving the first of the year.. or sometime there after.. so I am purging just about EVERYTHING that I don't need/want to move. I had the kids help me today in the basement. Dinner? Corned beef with cabbage, carrots and a couple potatoes! YUM.
Hi, Heatherlynn! Our day was fine. It's 6pm here and we have two subjects to finish- which reeks. But, we had running to do after gym, so this is what happens. Our dinner was a frozen dinner with mashed potatoes- instant ones!
hey Hey, How did your day go? Well I guess. We did school today. It went well and quick today. I made a point to pray before ever getting my feet on the ground. It always helps. What'd ya do? Reading (two different projects), math, writing, watched Reading Rainbow, spelling, typing with the youngest two. Oldest had dental surgery yesterday so I read to her from biology and geography and that was it for her. She isn't feeling the best today. She had her wisdom teeth taken out. She napped most of the day due to meds. WHat's for dinner??? Ok that one is easy. Grilled pork chops, salads and baked potatoes for 4 of use and the sickly girl will just eat potatoe I guess. She had jello for lunch. L
Hi! Our day went great....Daddy stayed home today so I didn't have to take the kids to work with me! Lessons went well after we got home and now dh is finishing up (a late) dinner. We are having chicken, homeade mashed potatoes and some braised cabbage I threw together earlier....Yum! Hope your day was a good one!
Hello, our day was good. We schooled for about 4 hours. Had breakfast for supper - eggs and bacon, toast. Elijah wasn't hungry because he ate 4 bowls of macaroni/spaghetti sauce, and melted cheese, plus 4 pieces of butter bread for lunch. He is now eating another LARGE bowl of the macaroni for "supper/snack".
today was my youngest DD's Birthday, at her request I made chocolate chip muffins for breakfast--- in mini bunt pans...... then we went to the homeschool park for a bit (it was our bi-anual clothing exchange)..... then we went to lunch at a 50's diner where all the October birthday people got a free sunday and their picture taken. my mom's birthday is today too and the twins are on the 30th. then the mall so the kids could get more webkin stuff. then we came home and Eva opened her presents from us and they made "make your own pizza" I made a cake that looked like the wheel of wow on webkinz. that was our day. and I'm glad its almost over..... the kids are all getting over colds and the girls just took showers because they threw up.
Yes, he is. He cracks me up. I never know from day to day how much to cook, until he sits down to eat. He weighs about 110 pounds and is 5'2". He is so very active. I think that helps too. My dh is the same way. Eats a lot and stays thin.
We had a good Tuesday ( now Wed morning here) WE got up about 7.30 ( DH had already left for work). Had breakfast, then I went out to water/weed the garden. Kids played - and were civil to each other. Started school about 9.30 - Math and English. LO went down for a nap. We read "The Gorgon's Head" for history, kept going with our work on geology for science, continued our work on Hinduism. DH came home early, and so we called it a day.( just after lunch) Headed out for dinner too- so I cant complain ! Had a buffet at the local beach resort (I ate too much) My favourite dish was lamb tagine and my favourite desert was...all of them !
My day was: Up at 3:45am - make my dh breakfast and pack his lunch. Then research some needed things for the day. Go back to bed around 5:30am and wake up at 7am and get the kids up. At 8am all chores and breakfast done and school has been started. We start with bible then math and language. By then all the dew is dried up so we take about a 3 mile run/walk through the woods behind our house. 12:00 it's lunch. 1:00 we finish up with spelling, science and history. 2:30 we head outside to work on the house a little more. We have a log home and are restaining it. It is a loong process. Thankfully the kids are old enough to help. 6pm it's dark and we head in to have dinner - smoked pork in the crock pot, boiled red potatoes from the garden, carrots from the garden and a dish of sliced tomatoes and cucumbers with italian dressing (also from the garden). Dh gets home at 9pm and eats dinner and it's off to bed.
Thank you for letting me peek into your days! It's neat how everyone has a groove. Talking about hungry teens.. HA! I have a hungry teen AND hungry munchkins. They NEVER quit eating!
