Hi ladies! Gosh - when was the last time I was here? We are now in Manizales, Colombia and are staying in the home of some friends. They have internet in the house, so I have unlimited access for a couple of weeks - YAHOO! Honestly, I don't even remember when the last time I came here was, but I know it was in Central America somewhere. We have now entered into the Andes and are climbing a lot. I mean - a LOT! These climbs are massive - like 6000 or 7000 feet in one solid go! As we climb, we can see 8 or 9 thousand foot spans from the valley floors to the tops of the mountains. The magnitude of the Andes is really incredible...
Well, since I see your comments on FB, I get confused as to when you were last here as well! What an amazing adventure you are on! Are you going to scrapbook this trip, or would that be too massive of a project? You'll probably write a book about it, eh? Glad you're getting a couple of weeks rest, your bodies deserve it!
I will try to write a book once we are back home - whenever that might be! I'm not sure how I would capture 2.5 years in one book, but I'll give a go. We are loving this little town we're in now and I know we'll love our time here. This is one of the most special parts of our journey - getting to know so many people and places!

Way to go Vogel family. I love the book idea Nancy. You could make it a family project I am sure the boys could contribute lots. The girls get so excited checking in on your website. They keep commenting on how the boys are growing. LOL
The boys have grown so much - especially Davy! Sometimes I just look at him and shake my head. He is now taller than most of the adults around here and I'm sure he will be at least 6.5 feet tall when he is grown! It's scary!
