I just picked up a new book at B & N yesterday (although I had seen it online at CBD). It's copyright 2008 so its pretty new  When Homeschooling Gets Tough: Practical Advice to Stay on Course by Diana Johnson It's a Christian book and was a great read for someone who is just getting started or on year 10. It's not a long book (118 pages) and I read it all this afternoon (when I should have been putting away laundry). I've read LOTS of homeschool books in the last 18 months or so....and this one was very encouraging. It's less than $10 (esp. with your educator disct card). It's not a book that will magically solve big problems but was more encouraging to keep going and look at the bigger picture, etc but gives great advice on ways to "tweak" or evaluate life and school when needed. Just wanted to share. She has a book on High School @ Home too. Haven't read it but I will when that time gets closer.
