Last week the boys (10 & 8 ) and I were coming out of the gas station/convience store when a 12 year old girl surrounded by her friends yelled out the car window "Whooo Whoo.........Cowboy!", ugh, hoochies at 12 years old! I hope she never catches one of my "cowboys"........ugh, the thought of my boys being chased/flirted with, sure has hard on Moma!!
My dh always said it is the girls that get the boys in trouble! lol. From what I have seen of girls lately I would say that is probably true. That or girls are just more open about it now.
We went to the library today. There was a school group there of first graders. Well, Rachael helped out with the SPARKIES at AWANAS this past year (grades k-2), and Phillip saw a SPARKIE friend there with the class. So Rachael went up and spoke to this little boy. A friend of his asked him who Rachael was, and the little guy answered, "That's my girlfriend!!!" Rachael about DIED!!! (And, I might add, that I know his parents. They do NOT stress dating in any way, shape or form with their children!)
