So, I am taking a peek here... I felt like I needed a spot to converse more with HSers... and found your little niche here. I am going to jump in and introduce myself, and see if I end up fitting in. I am a homeschool mom of two kidlets. A 6 yr old boy and a 4 yr old girl. We are an Air Force family, and I was a teacher prior to having my own little ones. This is a great spot to visit and it becomes like family in no time. I joined last year and everyone helped me get my girls off to a great start with homeschool. The girls are in 9th and 4th grades and we are loving homeschool. We are in NC and have 7 kids in all. Three are married and two graduate from public high school in June. Welcome and stick around! Welcome! We're an Army family stationed at Ft. Monroe, VA. We just started homeschooling last March. I am so thankful that my first friend here in VA introduced me to this forum! Jump in...the nice thing about HS Spot is almost anyone can fit in (we're all different from each other in lots of ways but we don't care). Hi and welcome! I agree - this is one of the most "easy to fit in" places on the net I've found, and I've been around. :lol: There are military families, and lots of teachers and ex-teachers as well.
