http://kidshealth.org/kid/ I love this site. I was reminded to share it today when Sami got a nose bleed. it has lots of simple first aid stuff and explains various things in a way kids really understand what is the matter with them. One good one was how it explains to kids why it's bad to bite their nails. Cute articles like "Hey! A Mosquito Bit Me!" and even Experiments to do. It also has a whole section on emergencies like how to use 911 etc. I use it alot when stuff happens to the kids here for impromptu Science class.
Glad you liked it! I think it's awesome for the kids to learn about safety and ilnesses and such. Just thought I'd also note that I DO NOT reccommend thier teen site because it it SO secular/controversial. Covers sex with a no emphisis on abstanance (mentioned some kids will abstain because religion forbids sex and that being a virgin is mainly good for proving that YOU are in charge of your own body.), how to care for your tattoos and other stuff I don't really think teens should focus on. I haven't noticed anything controversial in the kids version though I generally read it to the kids and point out pictures rather than have them go to that site themselves.
