Hi ladies! I haven't posted much here in a very long time but I am preparing to order my dd's 4th grade curriculum and have a question I thought you all might be able to help me with.

I am going to be order Writing Stands 3 for sure. My question is should I also add in Queen's Language Lessons - Elementary 1? Or would that be pointless? Or Overkill? Or a helpful addition?

I am including the links here for anyone who might want to look it up. :)

I would appreciate any and all opinions/advice on this matter. Thanks!

okay we have WS3 and ds totally enjoyed it, but I just did easy grammar on the side and it was sufficient. OF course he had come from BJU as well. Of course we used it for JR High level. SO that may be a difference.
We used BJU from 4-6th grades English 4, 5, 6 was great for teaching ds the things he needed to know in English btw.

I wish I had the language arts like what you posted though! WOW! Love it!
It may be slight overkill for an older kid but for your dc if you are looking at doing it some days but not every day, and doing the WS every day--- I say this because WS sometimes takes like 15 mins and sometimes a hour of writing as it progresses. So depending on how you set it up that would work too!

I'm not really familiar with Queen's, but I looked it up. It seems to be more grammar focused. I only used Writing Strands briefly, but don't remember any grammar in it. You can always pick and choose from them if both seems to be too much.

Thank you! I think I will get both and do what Teacher Mom suggested and don't do everything every day. This way she will get both writing and grammar. I wasn't sure if WS had any grammar included so thanks for letting me know it does not. I just knew I'd get an good answer here! Thanks again!
