A week or so ago, someone asked about a crash course for learning about the continents. It made me think about the boy scout merit badge, Citizenship in the World, which offers some good ideas for learning about the world.

Well, for the last few evenings, I've been building an online course for this merit badge, and I've almost finished. One of the activities in the course is a quiz to help scouts learn the flags of all countries in the world. I've published the quiz independently so your students can take it (free of course).

You can access the quiz using the dummy account I've created: username is 'spot-student' and password is 'homeschool'. It's possible, though, that two people may log in at the same time and cause confusion, so it might be better to create your own 'member' account at our website. Then go to the quiz tab and search using the keyword 'flags' (or just PM me for help).

Anyway, to access the quiz, go to www.sharedstudy.com, log in to your account, and take the quiz. Your student can take as many practice attempts as they like and will see a different set of flags every time.

PS - I overlooked one country, Kosovo, because it's not currently a member of the United Nations. I'll add this flag in the next version of the quiz.
