    I have been reflecting about things over the past couple of days and this expression (that I seem to use a lot these days) came to mind and it seems to have stuck with me. Then I got to thinking about all the prayer requests we all have here and thought that maybe we could all post them here under the same general heading (kind of appropriate - many times it's a matter of letting go of it with our human strength and letting God handle it).

    So let me start (or at least see how well my memory is):
    * Crystal and her family - the pregnancy, the adoption and the bio-father
    * Joanna and her family - the broken back, her husband's heart condition
    * The mom with leukemia (I can't rememberher name - sorry)
    * Becky and her family - family issues (Kevin, etc)
    * Ty - lymphoma
    * Jimmie Lu and her family - their missions trip to Mexico
    * Brenda and her family - health issues (back), van problems (financial miracle at this point)
    * Joyce - healing and that she'll make a decision about the bookstore
    * Tsunami victims - strength and that they'll see God's work in all of this

    If I have fogotten anyone, please forgive me but make sure you add it here so that we can all continue to pray...

    We need a miracle in a bad way (financial). The van broke down on the highway this morning and the repair bill is $1850! - money that I don't have right now and money that I can't get...

    Please pray for God's intervention in this - I'm not sure what else to do...

    I think the "mom with lukemia" is me, omly it's lymphoma. She's doing much better, BTW. The test came back to where it is NOT in her brain, which has given her hope that she might be able to beat this with chemo. We expected her to come home from her first chemo treatment and be totally wiped. She did sleep about two hours, but then was fine and had dinner with us! The next treatment will be something different, and is said to be more intense.

    Brenda, thanks for the wonderful job summing all this up! Will be remembering your car problems!

    UPDATE
    I have been booked to go for a CT Scan of my back (physio and I are not convivced that we're dealing solely with Degenerative Disk Disease). I don't have the date yet, but am told that it shouldn't be too long (maybe a week or so). The physiotherapist believes that I may have a herniated disk (Oh goody). In the meatime, I continue to live with the pain in my bum, hip, leg clear down to my knee and it is becoming intolerable at the best of times (and I haven't been the easiest person to live with because of the pain).
