Anyone use it before? One of our foster girls is taking Civics right now (that's the standard 8th grade history class) and she just doesn't "get" any of it and I'm trying to find a way to help. She's not from the US so in school she's really never had stuff constantly put in her head as other kids have. In Northern Virginia a TON of school time is actually on the Government because of how close we are to Washington, DC. But she's only been here 4 years and did not even speak English when she got here - which is STILL showing up as a problem (yet she still moves ahead). I though the LifePacs might help since each one is a specific topic and they are easy to work with. Or if you know of some OTHER basic curriculum that would work??
