Sorry, for stupid question, but what LOL stands for? You all use it so much, and I am only guessing what it might mean

 

laughing out loud. no dumb question here on hs spot.

 

I've also seen it as Lots of Love, but it's most common use is as the pp stated!

 

oh on this board it is laughing out loud...never seen it the other way but sure it can be..

 

This post just made me LOL.. I thought I was the only one who took forever to figure things out! There are some of these abbreviations we use that I figure out and a week later I have no clue what it could possibly mean. Somewhere I found a dictionary of internet lingo, but have no clue where it was, but it was a big help for a long time.

 

The title to this had me thinking that someone had a good one to share!
