Oh, HELP. I have been to this particular website many times, but I haven't since my hard drive last crashed (lost my bookmarks) and NOW I can't remember enough about the name of it to find it. I've been searching, googling. I even went to the favorite websites section of the Homeschool Spot and browsed all the pages and stickies. I'm not recognizing it, I think. It's a page that lists standard expectations for each grade level - but it's not from a school district. It's from an encyclopedia or encyclopedia published. If you can help me out, I'd really appreciate it. This is starting to drive me crazy.
Was it Worldbook typical course of study? I can't post links, but if you google that, you should come up with the webpage. Edited to add: Oops, too slow. Someone beat me to it.
Could you be thinking of www.basicskills.net? There is a free down load on the home page called Essential Learning Objectives which lists math and language arts skills that should be mastered at each grade level, grades kindergarten through eight. That might be what you're looking for.
I had to hunt around for this. It's not on the home page. After I went to the site I had to go into the basic skills page and then I was able to access Essential Learning Objectives. It is an eBook they sell for $10.00.
ForTheSon, I found it - sort of. If you sign up for their ezine subscription, it's a free download -- see the left column of the home page.
