Does anyone have a good site that has good used school books. I am looking for every subject for a 4th grader and 6th grader. Thanks for the help. Kris TX
Vegsource Kris- Have you tried Vegsource.com? They have people on there selling just about everything imaginable. I've ordered from several different people and have gotten books in great condition for a fraction of the new prices. Also, there's homeschoolclassifieds.com. If you do a search for used homeschool curriculum, there are other sites that come up too. Good luck Heidi
Heidi mentioned Homeschool Classified. That's my Number One Source. I've bought lots of stuff from them. I've found Vegsource hard to browse. If you know a specific title you want, do a web search with that title and "used curriculum" and you might find something on a site you've never heard of.
Kris, Have you tried looking on eBay? I've gone there a couple times (out of curiosity) and there are occassionally some home school books for sale there. I don't know about prices though...suppose it depends on what you're looking for and where you live. Brenda

I purchased twice and was happy with each sale; although one took a while to get here. www.greathomeschoolbooks.com has a used section as does The Back Pack. They both have new and used curriculum (I like to have the rainbow resource center catalog on hand to compare prices.) I think the web link is www.thebackpack If you check your state for a homeschool support group, many have used curriculum sales and newsletters with great bargains. Oh, www.bestwebbuys is a great site. You type in a title and they list the top five or so deals, they list new and used. Happy hunting. Tammy
www.homeschooledclassifieds.com That is where I got alot I got frustrated with vegsource because there are alot of "stores" trying to sell used at almost new prices and by the time I finished reading the ads there were 25 new ones. I have A/O lifepack teachers books and a few life pacs if you are interested i ll sell them for $10 plus you pay shipping. Maybe if you post what you are looking for someone will have it!! IMHO
