It's been a while since I've been on here.During our last visit with the doctor we were told that tests from hubby's last doctor revealed that he had low thyroid levels. We never were even told about this. Also were told that could be the cause of his osteoporosis.. He's only 37 and was diagnosed 5 years ago when he was 32. Anywho, that doctor neglected to tell us about this and this was early on in the game and it might possibly could have been treated and not gotten to the point it's at now. Instead he pawned us off on a specialist that we couldn't afford.. ((sigh)) So to dig deaper into that aspect of things, this doctor ordered 25 tests. I'm not sure what all he was tested for. But it was EXPENSIVE!!! $1000 and that was with a 30% discount! Anyhow, some of the tests have come back and they called to tell us that we need to come in and discuss the results. We are nervous but at the same time, we are ready to find out what the cause of hubby's health issues are. Please pray for this doctor to keep working with us. He has spent countless hours combing through all of hubby's records and working the case. He's making it a priority and quite frankly I am very impressed with him so far. I believe that God put him in our path. We had originally made an appointment with another doctor in his office after hours and hours of praying for direction to the correct doctor. Get to the office for our first appointment and we get another doctor. Our first visit with this doctor he told us that he is a believer and prays every single morning for direction and to have an unhardened heart towards his patients. And I absolutely believe him. We go Monday morning at 9am to find out what the results are. Thanks!!

Praying and thanking God for your new doctor. I know you are anxious to get some much needed answers. Remember that no matter what you find out, knowing is better than not knowing and you can finally work toward recovery. God bless you as you wait and move forward.
