What do you like or dislike about it? I am thinking of using this program for kindergarten and 1st grade and then switching to teaching textbooks for 2nd grade on up. Has anyone made this switch and if so, how did it go?

I've used MUS successfully with my 3 girls. They absolutely loved it, especially in the lower levels where they get to "play" with the blocks quite a bit. I liked that it taught the concepts concretely before moving onto abstract thought--in other words, they understand the "why" of what they are doing. I also like that it is VERY sequential and mastery-based. You don't move on until the concept is completely grasped! And then that concept is built upon & reviewed often to reinforce it. I have used this with Kindergarten (Primer) through Delta (the division book).
