Since '07 we have gone thru three laptops (Gateway) and within two years they have started to overheat and shut down. One of them did get coffee in it but not the other two. I even bought the fans to put underneath. While desktops are not as portable I prefer a desktop again. I have 2 desktop PCs (HP and a refurbished Dell) and the towers take up so much room. I don't have regular computer tables. They are both desks that were made precomputer days and a laptop would be ideal but I just don't want to go down that road again and have to get another within two years. I saw the all in one MACs and was thinking of that until I saw the MiniMacs. The tower is small like a stack of CDs on the desk plus I get to keep the monitor that I like and keyboard I just bought. Has anyone purchase the MiniMac and how do you like or not like it. My friend recently went from all PCs to all MAC including the apple TV and just loves it all. After a few months she still loves all her MAC stuff. The only Mac stuff I have is a Itouch and Ipod. I am still debating over an Ipad or Nook.(I really like Barns N Noble)
Wow, My gateway laptop is just now starting to over heat. I have cleanned it out and it seems to be working fine, am I going to have to be worried now! yicks..
