I put things in a "safe place" and then can never remember where that safe place is. Rachael has suggested I get a basket and label it SAFE PLACE, and all those things get put in it.
I also put things in specific places, and then can never remember what that specific place is. I should label a basket "Specific Place". Great idea!!
scissors (I probably have 20 pair but never can find them when I need them) tape rulers socks hairbrushes.
Honest to goodness-pots! I have (had!) 2 nice, full sets of pots, but a few are missing and I have no idea why. They have been missing for over a year. The Roku remote (but never the TV remote), socks, the kids' shoes, random toys (the 6 year old-the 4 year old can always find his-he'll go over to my moms-she'll call and say "he says he coming to get his man" he'll walk in the house-go right to a tiny action figure, grab and walk back to grammy's! LOL)
These are all funny because we lose the same things...(Sorry I would have replied earlier, but we have been super busy and I haven't had chance to get on) We tend to have my daughter's belt, shoes, hair ties(I swear I buy them in bulk), car keys, sunglasses, pens, spoons(how do they go missing from the table to the sink to the drawer?) tupperware containers and lids, camera connection cord for the computer, and lots more that I can't think of right now! Thanks for replying everyone, glad I'm not the only one!
