Missouri dropping pretense of 'subjective' thinkin

    Our state standardized tests will no longer include any sections that can't be computer graded. Which means there will no longer be essay questions or any questions that previously allowed for the justification of one's answer.

    That makes it so much easier on the schools. See, this way they just have to teach answers, and not have to teach them "why" the answer is that way. It's detrimental to the children, but easier for the districts. You know that they will get higher points form this as well b/c you cut out all of the kids who can't write or put together a well formed sentance. So, for all anyone knows, the kids can all be assumed to do this, but it's not tested, is it?? Sheesh. Figures.
