Has anyone seen it? Just wondering what it was like, if it was good or not, etc. I know I can look it up on the IMDB, which I did. Though sometimes in the parents guide, they exagerate the 'bad' scenes.
Loved it!! So did my dd's ( 12 and 10 yrs.old). I cried at some parts and thought it was really well made...can't think of anything about it that I would say was bad.
we thought it was a good movie. But, like I said before and will say again. Alot of people think we are different. But, we did like it.
We loved it too, my kids are 15,13 and 8. I don't recall any bad parts either. It was a great family movie.
We liked it, but the end can be scarey for a little kid. I don't want to give it away, but if you have very sensitive kiddos it may bother them.
I took my kids to see it at the theater when my kids were 9 & 6. We thought it was great and no one was frightened by it. The scenery is spectacular!
I couldn't stand it. But the kids loved it. We're going to get the book which is apparently VERY different.
OK, I ended up watching it. That is, I watched the first 20 min and turned it off, I was bored to tears! Though one of my children watched the whole thing and I can't remember if they liked it or not.
I thought it was moderately boring. My 5 yo DS found it interesting at first but then ended up bored until I called him back when...let's just say, during the army scene (although he doesn't generally do long stints of TV even on favorites). My 7 yo DD didn't like it, but she is anti-TV in general.
