Today I spent the morning job hunting. I filled out several applications and have a few prospects so we'll see what happens. This past December I quit my job to take care of my special needs DD and begin HSing. I was a shift manager at McDonalds for seven years. Well I will tell you that the pocket book is not happy. So after much thought I decided to return to work part time in the evenings. For those you that work outside the home as well how do you manage? I am already stressing over working, HSing, housework, getting the kids to their extracurriculars, etc.
Also my 9yo DS has agreed to try homeschooling as well. Eeek!!!

It CAN work! Is your dh willing to help out some? Do you have the kids doing chores? When you homeschool do you have a set schedule?

Sometimes in situations like this it's easier to have set things, so everyone knows what to expect and can go with that. It'll be messed up sometimes, but work as quickly as you can to get it back on track. It can get confusing and frustrating for the children and well as you when things are too chaotic!

If dh is on the same page and follows through with what you're doing, then that helps a LOT! YOU can't do it all! Enlist the family to help and follow the schedule, so that things can go as smoothly as possible!

That's just one piece of advice....
