Are we asking too much? The teacher at my dds soon to be school for senior year is wanting to combine these two totally different methods to teaching the ALGebra 2 level math. After spending over an hour trying to corelate the two scope and sequences together I am brain fried and don't want to do that to dd. I told her we would go along with the Teacher and see how it works but dh decided for me that he does not want her doing SOS, just the MUS because it will confuse her. HE said she can do the other courses as required but that for ALG 2 she could only do the MUS, that is his deal for her. So I am wondering if anyone would try putting them together? Jackie? Deena? Kris? have either of you dont this? would you do something like this? I am considering seeing if she can take the MUS first, then IF she finishes early work on the SOS untill the end of the year. II have already offereed to do the grading for him so he does not have to worry about that part of the matter. help? any adivice from those who use two maths, or have used SOS with another brand? Any level even!
