First off my best buddy Sherry called me this morning and informed me to get to Staples they had FREE pencils and rulers today. I am not one to pass up free LOL. I went there and bought my FREE pencils but the rulers where no where to be found. I did get eight 1" binders and 4 report covers. I spent a whopping two dollars and something.

Next stop Goodwill. I spent a whole fiver! I got a brand new math CD for ages 6-9. A brand new package of beginning readers (30 of them) Owen used to bring the exact ones home from school. A wipe off time teaching book that I paid 99 cents for and it had a $12.00 price tag still on it. It is really awesome and goes into detail about time telling. 3 25 piece puzzles. The hardcover book of Treasure Island.

I also picked up a unit study on Greece and Rome from a lady one Free-cycle.

So I had a pretty good and cheap shopping adventure.

Wow what a great day you had! I don't know if they still have it, but around here Wal-Mart had 70 page, perforated spiral notebooks for a nickel, with no limit on how many you could get. It ends up cheaper buying those than the loose leaf notebook paper anywhere that I could find! I also managed to get those really pretty plastic 3 prong, 2 pocket folders for 15 cents (limit 10) at Staples...that was cheaper than the regular paper folders and they look so much better and will hold up a lot better.

Oh yes! I went and bought a ton of the notebooks at Wal-mart when they first set them out. That is such a great deal! The crayons at Wal-mart are way cheaper too.

HOw fun! I wonder if my staples has that today too? Maybe its time for me to take alittle excursion of my own?
I am watching two baby boys, 2 yrs and 7 months for a few days this week, thier mom left them longer than I thought they would need to be here, ad tomorrow will be even longer, she first talked like it was half day but it will be full time!
At this point, I am not being paid, I am just watching them for her. They are sweet little guys, but since we do start up school in two weeks or so I think this is going to put a small damper on my days!
I want a break, Thanks for STAPLES ideas!

I love a bargain! Sounds like you had a great shopping trip. We don't have a Staples. Wish we did.

I was going to take advantage of the two boxes of paper for 15 dollars, but at MY staples it was 29.99 for two boxes, no fair!
But I got the pencils, and rulers for free and one more binder that I needed...
