TGIF!!!!! If today was Monday, I would have hid under the bed till Sunday!! Ok, this morning started off as normal. While dd and the kids I sit for were having breakfast, dd jumps up because she sees two big mean dogs outside going after our weenie mix (who is on a leash) she runs out side (these dogs were only like 5 feet away from our door!) I go after her and the dogs growl at both of us!! I get them in call dh, he tells me to call animal control (they have been called several times before for this... ) so I do, in the meantime, a mom who I sit for calls to tell me that she quit her job and ds wont be comeing anymore (he is starting school anyway, I knew I would not have him much longer..) while I was talking to her, the other 2 year old comes to me and asks to go get a toy (I keep the box in the schoolroom) I say ok as he has done this a gazillion times with no prob, and after like 2 minutes I realize he didnt come back. I went to dd room to see if he went in there to watch a movie with his sister and my dd, nope not in there. Then I notice that the schoolroom door is closed!!  I open the door and this little stinker emptyied FIVE BOTTLES OF GLUE ON MY CARPET!!!! He got into the markers and WROTE ON THE WALL!! For those of you who do not know, we just bought this mobile home brand new six months ago!!! (Not to mention when I had lived here a whole three days he had red diarrea on my carpet cause his mom had let him have several sippie cups of punch all night long....) Lately he has been doing this to his mom and grandparents, but he has been nothing less then a well behave kid with me!! Thank goodness the markers came off the wall or dh would have just had a fit!!! I had to use a spatula to scoop up the glue as best as I could and use soap and water.........geez~I hope the glue is still on sale...lol!

I think you need a babysitter for yours and send the other home, get into the tub with some bubble bath. Don't answer the door or telephones. Stay there until Monday morning:)

    I second that advice :).

DH (who cleans carpets for a living) says to soak the gluey ares with liquid laundry soap in water. Use the back of a pair of scissors to agitate it (he seemed sure of this, though I guess you could use a lot of other things). Let it soak for about half and hour then blot it up.

I'll never forget the time my third child (around 3 at the time) got into a container of hair grease and took it upon herself to grease her own hair. Her hair was thoroughly greased!! It was many shampoos later before I had to put any type of moisturizer in her hair!

Lol!! When dd was about 2 and I had went on a trip to a hair show with some stylist friends, I was an hour out when I called to check on dh and dd and he said he was giving her a bath. I asked him why and he said "'cause she was trying to bathe the cat in the toilet because she had poured a bottle of baby oil all over it!" When I got back the next night the cat was still all shiny and I had little greasy handprints all over the bathroom wall!! LOL! I had only been gone about an hour so I was nervous the rest of my trip wondering what would happen next with those two. Dd is now 6 and I still think twice before I leave dh and her alone together! The things they get into when I am gone!! LOL!

AND.......I saw last night in the paper that Office Depot has a sale on school supplies and glue 5 cents!!! Yay!

Wow! That is some story! Don't forget that if you pay taxes on your daycare business you can write off all your damages. That's what I did when a day care kid broke my window. UGH!

Oh and go do something to relax. We all need some time out. lol...funny kids hate time out...I wish someone would send me to my room. lol.
