I am kind of sad because my neighbor directly across the street is moving in a week. She is the lady whose husband died two years ago on Halloween. She wasn't home at the time so I got her daughter and nephew over here with my girls and stayed with her grown son while the paramedics worked on the husband but there wasn't anything they could do for him. This is the neighbor who helped me keep it all together the day I found out Crystal had cancer. I could go on and on about her but you get the idea. We are as different as night and day, but we just get along so well. I hate to see her move but she says the house is just too big and she wants to get into a smaller place with less to keep up and less stress. I will miss her so much but of course want her to be happy. Her house has five bedrooms so maybe a family with kids will move there and maybe this time Emily will get a girl her age on our street. Hey anyone here want to move to small town NC? Beth

Gee, Beth, that sounds ideal for this family I know of who are looking to move from another continent to the US! They would prefer someplace "like" NC, and a place close to nature, if you know what I mean. They have three children and could use the extra space. And they homeschool and could use a friendly neighbor who also homeschools.... Too bad they haven't even started the process just yet!

    Hope you get ideal neighbors!
