I was asked today by a family member who I'm fairly sure doesn't approve if I was "still homeschooling". I love that my children are not even at compulsory age yet and this is the second person THIS WEEK who asked me if I was "still" homeschooling. Anyway I kindly responded with "yes we are." Then I get the normal "so how's that going for you?" I now respond with "Its great. My kids are so smart they make it easy for me." If the other person knows my kids they agree otherwise they move on.

If there is one thing I've learned this week, don't criticize something you know nothing about. Praying I can remember that one.

My response to anyone who asks how homeschoolling is going is my standard, "Awesome! We are LOOOOOVING it!" My kids give the same response, naturally, because they love homsechooling a LOT more than public school. Sometimes people really do want to know, as I was always curious before I started homeschooling. If they ask any further, I am just honest with my specifics.
