The other day my 17 year old started laughing hysterically in the back of the car.... she was watching a squirrel "run" or "hop" depending on which of my kids you talk to. She said she had never seen that before!? She's lived with us for 4 1/2 years..... ummm... we live in the country..... something is missing.

So I'm breaking out the notebooking pages I have and will be giving every kid a notebook to color and observe the creek, trees, etc. and learn about them. Each kid has a camera - so they can take pictures as well to add into the book.

I have Handbook of Nature Study as an eBook - but I might need to break down and buy it as a regular book so I can mark it up better.

Any other suggestions? It's been quite awhile since we've done nature study ;)
