    Hi All,

I am getting concerned that my daughter needs more time spent on Math and not sure what to do. I homeschool her due to health problems, but it was something I wanted to do anyway to give her a better education. I feel rushed each year to finish a text book before evaluation day. Personally, I feel she needs to stay on multiplication until I FEEL she has gotten it before moving to division.
She hates math, and it is her weakest subject. She's not getting f's mind you, but I feel i'm doing wrong by moving to the next thing before she truly GETS what shes just done. I feel if it takes her a half of a year to really get all forms of multiplication/division, she should stay there and not feel rushed to move on.
I am looking at the Key To Series, and was wondering if anyone knew more about them and has/have used them? I though I once read on here or the other board, that it was a complete curriculum except the Geometry. They say it is for 4 thru 12 grade. I would like to work on just multiplication until she is confident doing it. Then move on to Decimals and so on.
Is there a curriculum that works this way that any of you know of? What are your thoughts of the Key To Series? What would you do if it were you in my shoes? If it wasn't for the fact that she is ill and her only contact with children is the one day she attends Blended School a week, i'd register with a private school with the option to homeschool here in Florida and do what I really feel is the right thing for her. I feel the school board is telling me what I can and can't do for my daughter by feeling every student must complete a whole text in math in a years time. They are individuals and not everyone learns on the same level. That's why we homeschool right, to do what is best for our children? Please give me your thoughts/suggestion on this matter.
