Hi all, My family and I will be going on vacation To Ocean City Maryland in October. I am looking for ideas and suggestions on lesson ideas. I won't be having them put in a full day of school while there but I do want to make it educational. I hate to lose too many days of school. My sister will be going too and she has a couple kids that are in public school. I would like to include them too, since for public school requirements this has to be an educational trip. My kids are in 7th, 9th and 12th grade. My sisters are in 3rd and 9th. I thought I could make up some worksheets and such to take along. Any ideas are welcome. Thank you
Hi, Lisa! I'm just over the MD border. Did you happen to contact Ocean City's town office to see what they have to send you?
I would contact the local chamber of commerce for an info packet on the town; or contact the local library for any information packets/resources they may have. Either one should also be able to tell you if there is a local event going on at the time you will be there (i.e. a food festival, "rival school" high-school football game, etc.) Have fun! momx3
