I am sitting here trying not to panic and decided to ask for extra prayers. I know they help! We are in an extremely tight spot rigt now financially and I don't see how we are going to get through the next few weeks. I am talking down to tp and milk tight. We get in a pinch here and there but rarely this bad off. I have myself with the inside shakes rightnow from stress. Please send up prayers for our basic needs over the next few weeks . Thanks!
Praying for you guys. You might see if there is anything you can sell to make a little extra money. Also lots of times churches and other places have food pantries. If you use one of those you can always give back in a few weeks when you have a little extra. Praying for you all. Take some deep breaths and find a quiet spot to pray for a little bit. Maybe even get the kdis to pray with you. They don't have to know about the finances but just pray for others with needs that you know and it will help calm your fears. I saw a great church sign the other day that made me stop and really think. Don't worry about tomorrow God is already there.
Take some deeeeeeeeep breaths! Close your eyes and whisper, "The LORD is with me!" until you can say that with confidence! He IS with you and he knows what you are going through! We have been in spots like that as well: down to bare bones, and nothing to do. Check the local food pantry. You might have to call city hall (we did) because not all food pantry's are well advertised. When we abound, we rejoice. However when we abase, we need to rejoice as well because God is trying to teach us something or show us another way of thinking. Give thanks to the LORD, pray, and see what the LORD can do for you!
Praying for your needs to be met in a way that you will see the Lord's signature. We try not to stress the kids about finances, but we share our needs with them so they can rejoice with us when we see God's provision. I think they need to see those things to solidify their faith, too.
