New dog... questions

    I am formerly a vet tech, and I second your second! :lol:

    Side note on others' previous posts....I'm not, however, a big believer in the dog being the only one allowed in the crate. I require my dogs to allow me to do anything and be anywhere in their life....cuz that's just how I roll. ;) Actually, there is a safety issue in allowing your dog to be the sole occupant of the crate. When the dog is at the vet's, someone has to get the dog out. There is nothing more fun (NOT!) than reaching into a crate when the dog believes you have no right to reach in. :eek: My dogs know that I am the actual occupant of the crate and they get in and out of my crate when I tell them to.
