Hello! We live in northern California, have two kids and one on the way. Our oldest is 5 years old and we will be starting first grade this year. We homeschooled for kindergarten and are excited about first grade. Our intent was to continue schooling in the summer, but we have been off for almost a month due to illness. Of course learning never ends, but the curriculum has been pushed to the side. Right now we are enjoying lots of swimming, bike riding, legos, books, BBQs, and most of all, time with family and good friends. A friend told me about this site, so I decided to check it out! It sounds like a great place to brainstorm and find out about curriculum, etc. I look forward to exchanging ideas with you!!! Betsy :love:
